Jamaika Good Vibrations in Reggae Land

Documentary // ZDF / ARTE 2002, 2 x 45 Min., Betacam SP

Reggae is the epitome of Jamaica and its people. Reggae is not only music but first and foremost a life style on the Caribbean island. We follow the footsteps of the legendary Bob Marley, meet his mother and attend the annual event hosted in honour of the Reggae star; the Nine Miles Concert.

Off the beaten tourist track we discover the Maroon people in the mountains sample the world's most expensive coffee in the highlands and are guests of Sista P. one of the few Rasta women on Jamaica. She accompanies us around her home town Port Antonio.
